Child Exploitation & Abuse Investigator The emotive issue of child abuse or the exploitation of the young means we have to be highly professional in our approach to its investigation. Central to that is the Internet and the online aspects of the subject. The people who protect our young need the best training to understand their subject matter & to enable them to communicate about it & present it so that is it believable, understandable & without question.

Way back in the late 1990s/early 2000s, the course author worked closely with those investigating in this area. There was a recognition that pure detective skills alone were insufficient and some technical skills & knowledge were necessary to allow those professionals to work at their best when dealing with victims, witnesses, suspects & prosecutors. This hasn’t changed and perhaps today, there is an even greater need to up skill those who protect.

We will take the investigator through the collection of material, what they are likely to encounter, where that came from, how to make best use of it, what to ask for & many other parts of a child exploitation & online abuse investigation.

The course is taught be highly experienced practitioners in digital evidence & investigation who have secured & presented evidence through the courts are various levels. They have also taught child abuse courses in many parts of the world. It can be trained at pre-organised training venues or at the client’s own venue. We will provide the necessary hardware & software.

This is a five day intensive course involving both practice & theory – and is assessed.
